Ashlyn Pope is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Charles Joyner Institute for Gullah and African Diaspora Studies at Coastal Carolina University (South Carolina). Her work for 鈥淎 History of Moving Forward鈥� includes ceramics and textiles. Pope鈥檚 work has been shown widely at institutions such as the FSU Museum of Fine Arts at Florida State University (Florida), the Palmer Museum of Art at University Park (Pennsylvania), and Baltimore Clayworks (Maryland). She was featured on the cover of聽Ceramics Monthly聽in December 2023.聽
